Rumors abound of a Pro version of the Nintendo Switch, never seem to go away: Nintendo has said there won’t be a new version of the Switch…yet, so picking up a current model is still a good option if you want handheld gaming this Amazon Prime Day. Nintendo Switch deals are a feature of Black Friday, but July’s Prime event could be a great opportunity to save.

When is Amazon Prime Day in 2022?
This year Amazon Prime Day will be happening on July 12th and 13th, having moved to October and June in previous years. It’s worth remembering that because it’s Amazon Prime Day, you will need to be a Prime member. If you’re not, you can pick up a 30-day free trial and then take advantage of the deals. It’s worth remembering that you’ll need to cancel it if you don’t want the subscription beyond the 30-days.

How much is the Nintendo Switch On Amazon Prime Day?
While discounts on the Switch itself are possible this Prime Day, it may not change in price at all. Instead, there may be bundle deals with accessories or games added in for ‘free’. Prime Day deals generally see discounts of between 5% and 30%, and it may be that a strong discount appears. If it does, we’ll be adding it right here, so be sure to check back.
Is Amazon Prime Day A Good Time To Buy A Nintendo Switch?
We think yes! Besides Black Friday there aren’t too many other opportunities throughout the year where we can at least foresee a half-decent discount or added value bundle on the NIntendo Switch. Prime Day should also be a decent opportunity to stock up on some new games too for existing owners.
Get that alarm clock set. And if you haven’t got an alarm clock, you will definitely be able to get one on Amazon Prime Day as the Echo Show is bound to be reduced – and that’s a great alarm clock!
