Logitech G502X price and models

The Logitech G502X gaming mouse price points are as follows. Each model can be purchased in either White or Black.

The entry-level mouse is the wired model and ideal for gamers who want all the G502X features without wireless connectivity – and the reliability of a wired connection.

It’s also the cheapest model, at a price point not unusual for a premium mouse. Especially from a company with a solid track record in peripherals (which Logitech is).

For anyone opting for wireless freedom, there’s a $50 addition to the price for the G502X Lightspeed model.

Lightspeed wireless tech offers a reported 68 percent increase in response time. Charging is taken care of with Logitech’s Lightspeed charging solution.

The Plus variant offers everything in the Lightspeed model, but adds Logitech’s Hero 25K gaming sensor. Logitech says this offers “precise down to the sub-micron for high-precision accuracy with zero smoothing/filtering/acceleration for high gaming performance”.

However, we’ve yet to get our hands on the Plus to test the claims.

All models share in Logitech’s new hybrid optical-mechanical switch technology, which as the name suggests leverages both mechanical and optical triggers in unison to evoke one of the most precise and definitive actuation points on the market.

This entails the use of a spring blade and contact plate in tandem with internal optical click detection for feel and speed unlike any other mouse on the market.

Logitech likewise retrofitted the device with reversible and removable DPI-shift buttons to compensate for varied hand sizes.

It gifts the Logitech G502X some immense staying power, as the product can be tailored to a user’s specific needs.

For instance, the scroll wheel can be redesigned so users can make it lighter and more stable without losing intricate scrolling modes.

The Logitech G502X line leverage 1-to-1 accuracy at sub-micron levels thanks to the built-in Hero 25K DPI sensor.

No additional sensor alterations were made, such as smoothing, filtering, or acceleration, according to Logitech.

Logitech has remained adamant about delivering some of the most profound gaming peripherals on the market, as witnessed via the likes of the G604 Lightspeed and G433 headset.

The Logitech G Hub also offers consumers a suite of additional customization options, making products themselves stand out via the user’s own imagination.

The Logitech G502 X family certainly looks to have shuffled the deck for gaming mice. We’re yet to get our hands on it, but Logitech appears to have stuck to its build and performance standards while truly evolving its gaming mouse offerings.

If you’re in the market for a new mouse, Logitech certainly has a good track record for gaming mice. If you’ve used a Logitech mouse before it makes more sense to opt for the G502 X on that basis.

If not, you may want to wait and see how the family fares in the market.
