Now you can easily set Bing’s daily pictures as your Windows wallpaper

After numerous requests from users, Microsoft has finally released an official way to make the daily image appearing on Bing’s homepage as your own personal wallpaper.

It’s simple to do, although you will have to install their new app on your PC to handle the task autonomously. You will need to go and grab the Bing Wallpaper app and install it to your PC.

From there, it will now live in the system tray and rotate your desktop wallpaper accordingly on a day to day basis without any further interaction from you.

Microsoft said: “Bing Wallpaper includes a collection of beautiful images from around the world that have been featured on the Bing homepage, Not only will you see a new image on your desktop each day, but you can also browse images and learn where they’re from.”

Sounds good. We are installing as we speak. Bing Wallpaper does ask you to set your default search engine to Bing however, which won’t please everybody. Personally, I did that a long time ago as I use Microsoft Rewards to earn points for my searching, which can then be redeemed for things such as gift cards on Xbox Game Pass membership for free.
