The game developed by From Software, with input from George R.R Martin on the world itself, brings the brutal exploration and combat of Dark Souls to the open-world while combining the lessons learned from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Bloodborne to create either a final hoorah for the Souls genre of games or the next true step in its lineage.
There’s even a new 20-minute demo of Elden Ring that aired in the last few weeks, which shows off its high fantasy world, enemies, and friends you’ll encounter in the wastes.
