Joh Prosser has taken to the Front Page Tech Youtube channel to confirm a Google Pixel Watch marketing leak. These leaks match up with his original Google Pixel Watch report and renders back in April. Check them out below:

Remember when Google bought Fitbit for $2.1 billion earlier this year? Well, it looks like that investment is going to start paying off with new rumors of a Pixel Watch 2022 launch.
Google’s Pixel hardware group, which operates separately from Fitbit, is said to be working hard on getting Pixel Watch ready for a reveal and full launch in 2022. Business Insider originally broke the story, going on to state that it will cost more than current Fitbit lines, competing head-to-head with Apple watch.
According to Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech, the below renders by @RendersByIan represent the Google Pixel Watch he’s seen back in April. Featuring a classic circular minimalist design with a physical, bezel-free design, we wouldn’t be disappointed if these renders are accurate:
There’s quite a bit of activity regarding Google and Smartwatches at the moment. According to Pocket-Lint, the Tizen platform that currently runs Samsung Watches is merging with Googles, with Wear OS 3 being a collaborative effort between Samsung and Google. We can probably expect a vanilla version of Wear OS 3, or ‘Pixel Watch OS’ with Samsung giving it their own coat of paint for their own platforms.
The fact that the Pixel Watch is codenamed ‘Rohan’ is on its own enough buff to warrant extreme hype, but for Non-LotR fans, you’ll need some specifications and details. According to the report, the Watch will come with basic fitness tracking features, including step counting and a heart rate monitor. This comes with the news that Google is also working on Fitbit integration into Wear OS under the codename ‘Nightlight’. It looks like Fitbit will be using WearOS on all future models, which may also end up turning into some form of Pixel line.
As always, take all this with a bag full of salt until we get the official word or some solid leaks.
