Chinese micro-blogging website ‘Weibo’ is the home of the latest Samsung Galaxy 22 leak, but this particular peek behind the curtain is extra special. We’re looking at a real-life picture of the Samsung Galaxy S22 below, as opposed to previously speculative renders of the highly anticipated handset:
Confirming render leaks and other speculation, Samsung Galaxy S22 adopts the triple vertical camera in the upper left corner. It looks slightly different than the S21 thanks to the glossy black backplate instead of a matte black finish, however. This camera bump looks less prominent than its predecessor, however, building on the S21s ‘Contour Cut’ design.
These particular lenses will be a significant upgrade over the last generation with the main camera rumored to be Samsung’s new GN5 50MP camera, the same found in Google Pixel 6. The telephoto camera may very well be a 10MP sensor complemented with 3x optical zoom ability.

Included features for Samsung Galaxy S22 could very well be an under-display front camera as seen in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, although the performance of the said camera in practice may make Samsung go for a hole punch again. It may also feature a thinner design, so don’t hold out for any battery upgrades here either.
